Aptly named for our founder, Edward Butler – is an independently owned and operated wine shop and delicatessen in the heart of Stroud Green.
We pride ourselves on serving the local community with a unique and tasty array of carefully selected cheeses, wine, charcuterie, and artisan products from around the UK and Europe.
Everything we offer has been personally selected (and taste-tested!) by our discerning staff, ensuring only the finest foods and beverages are sold to our guests.
Our founder
Edward has a passion for seeking out nothing but the best in food and wine. Armed with 10 years’ experience in food retail, his aim is to offer customers an exceptional and enjoyable experience.
He never stops hunting for new and interesting products - delectable hidden gems that haven’t yet burst onto the culinary scene. But he also enjoys keeping tradition alive, and insists on stocking Butler’s with time-honoured local favourites.
Whatever your taste, you’re sure to find something to suit your palate.
In addition to its extensive line of products for tasting and takeaway, Butler’s offers a warm and friendly in-store service with expert advice on pairing wine with food.
Visitors are welcome to sit, relax and enjoy a special glass from our wine list alongside a carefully selected cheese and charcuterie board.
A rotating menu of coffee and small bites is also available for anyone looking for a delicious break from their day.
